The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and ask for information about how we process your personal data, to request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected, or to request a restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the processed personal data, request us in certain situations erasure of personal data and in certain cases you have the right to their portability. These conditions are effective from 1/1/2022 [A13]

[A1] [A1]Hi, I'm Shoptetrix and I'm going to advise you on how to prepare a flawless information document - Privacy Policy. What is this document good for? Regulates the processing of personal data where you do not need the customer's consent to do so by law.

And when do you need his approval? During marketing, for example during more advanced analytics, working with cookies, etc. You will also need this consent when sending out newsletters, when the customer wants to open an account with you or when you offer him a loyalty program. Attention, by placing this document on your e-shop, you will not obtain the customer's consent for the above-mentioned activities.

And where to put this document? It belongs to the footer of your website (e-shop).

[A2]Instead of dots in the model contract, write your details such as business name, ID number, company seat and details of registration in the register.

[A3] [A3]And what is personal data? This is all information that can be linked to a specific person. Most often, it will be his first and last name, e-mail address, but personal data can also be information about goods in which the customer is interested - for example, the characteristics of the given product.

[A4]Fill in the duration for which you will keep personal data with you, unless a contract is concluded. Remember that each processing has a different length - but it must always be the minimum time - i.e. the time that is necessary, even if it is not convenient for you.

Do not forget to delete this data after the specific processing time.

[A5] Watch out for the word purchase!

If customers shop on your e-shop for a third party (for example, gifting flowers, gift baskets, etc.), you must tailor these conditions.

[A6]Here, fill in the personal data that you require from the customer when creating the order, and you will continue to work with them even after the order is closed. Typically this is first name, last name and address.

[A7] [A7]If you sell an assortment that requires age verification (alcohol, sexual aids, etc.), you are legally obliged to process this data as well. And therefore complement this fact if you offer this kind of assortment.

[A8]Fill in the period for which you will have personal data with you if a contract is concluded. Don't forget that the storage and processing time is always different - but it must always be the minimum time, i.e. the time that is unavoidably necessary, which often results from the individual legal regulations that regulate your area of business. In this case, it is most often 10 years from the purchase, but it can vary!

Personal data must be deleted after a specific processing period has expired.

[A9]If personal data gets outside the EU (be careful, for example, with American tools, etc.), you need to tailor this sentence and find out if the use or location outside the EU is legally OK.

[A10] You probably do not employ a person responsible for data processing in your e-shop. If so, you need to add her contact details.

  [A11] [A11]Choose the appropriate option.

  [A12]Fill in your contact.

[A13]Don't forget to include the effective date.
